Over a month ago, I accidentally deleted all of my iPhoto images from my OS
X Mac while performing a regular back-up. I was aghast. Over eight years of
photo lost. Unsuccessfully, I tried again and again to recover those lost treasures
with my Norton Utilities, without success. Oh yes, Norton recovered the files,
but they were unreadable by any Mac application. I gave up my photos for lost
and moved on--without, however, any willingness to write anything new to my
back-up drive from which I had also deleted those same files (what must I have
been thinking?).
Purely by accident, over a month later, I learned about your CameraSalvage
utility. I downloaded a trial version, saw that it could read (preview) my
deleted files and immediately purchased the product. I've spent a whole day
and recovered virtually every file that I'd given up for lost. I still have
a lot of work ahead of me--renaming files and eliminating duplicates (stored
by iTunes in various sizes, etc.) but the work will be a labor of love to
completely restore those lost memories.
Thank you, SubRosaSoft.com.
