I actually just bought OffiveSalvage to do one job. My wife has been working
for a year on a very large Word document, and two days ago she managed to completely
delete it in the most bizarre way, such that it turned into a small alias which
linked to an Epson printer user guide!!
The "expert" guy from IT where
she works told her, and he seemed quite pleased about it, that she wouldn't
be able to retrieve it, and even
if she did
it would just be a garbled mess.
I told her he was talking rubbish and that
I'd find a way of getting it back. I found a link to your site on versiontracker,
bought OfficeSalvage, and now
she has 15 perfect versions of her document to choose from, and she can't
wait to contact IT when she goes back to work on Monday.
Even if we never use
it again it's paid for itself a thousand times over.
